How much advance notice do I have to give before I can schedule a ride?
OCTA transports passengers according to a schedule which is set 24 hours in advance for trips within Ottawa County and one week in advance for out-of-county destinations. Our reservationists do everything possible to accommodate everyone.
Who is eligible to ride OCTA?
Any member of the public may make a reservation to use OCTA Public Transit. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. OCTA operates all services without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, income, sexual orientation or disability.
Tickets can be purchased from any OCTA driver for $10.00 each. Please see our Rider Guide for fare details and other important information.
Who is eligible for reduced fares on OCTA transportation?
In Ottawa County seniors over 65 years of age and people with disabilities are eligible for service at half fare. For more details and to download an eligibility form, please click here.
Does OCTA supply wheelchairs and/or car seats?
No. OCTA vehicles are wheelchair-accessible and fully-equipped to safely transport everyone, but we do not supply wheelchairs or car seats for passengers. Anyone needing specialized equipment should call our office at 419-898-7433 to discuss options.
